Good News 2

 

   Today we had lunch with my dad. My dad told me there was a surprise

for me and he took out a white envelope. I open the envelope. Inside,

there was a hundred dollar bill and a letter so I opened the letter and read

it. It was the letter from the card contest I entered! Here is what it said.

 

 

Dear Victoria,

Congratulations! We’ve chosen your entry to be the winner of 2008

holiday card contest. There were many fantastic entries, but we really

admired the creativity and talent your drawing displayed. Please accept

your gift of $100 as a thank you for competing in this contest. Great job!
